Hebrews 9:26-28

New Matthew Bible

²⁶ For then he must have repeatedly suffered since the world began. But now, in the end of the world, he has appeared once and for all to put sin to flight by the offering up of himself. ²⁷ And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and then comes the judgment, ²⁸ so Christ was offered once to take away the sins of many, and to those who look for him, he will appear again without sin for salvation.
